• We sing at all Sunday services, leading the congregation in singing the responses in the communion service, to music written by our former organist and by our former Rector, as well as in hymns. We sing anthems, songs, plainsong and rounds, and we also sing at Evensong or Compline each month, as well as for weekday evening services for church festivals such as Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Ascension Day and so on.

• We practice together on Friday evenings twice a month (sometimes more often!) at 7.30 in church. We learn and practice hymns, songs, anthems, psalms, chants and responses. Practices are great fun, as well as hard work. Our choir mistress rewards our efforts with smiles! Music is such an important part of our church life, a support in sorrow and in joy, at Festivals and in our day to day duties, and a way of sharing our faith.

All singers are welcomed with open arms! We aim to sing in 4 part harmony.

• We often join with our friends from other churches in the village to form a village choir to sing at musical services and festival celebrations.

• In 2003, we raised £1250 for the Anthony Nolan Trust by a marathon hymn-sing - two and a half hours non-stop, ending in a simple service of thanksgiving and dedication.

• We attend local choral training events (e.g. RSCM Choir Festivals), and we get together for singing evenings with food!
