Life at St. Peter's
This ancient site of Christian worship, both building and grounds,

We sing at all Sunday services, and practice together on alternate Friday evenings at
7.30 p.m. - all singers are welcomed with open arms! Anne is our
Choirmistress.
FOSPA TEAS
: Friends of St.
Peter's Addingham (us!) serve teas here on Sundays from May to end September
from 2.00 pm until 5.00 pm - a warm welcome, and a lovely place for an outing for all
the family. Now in our 27th year - and we keep getting better! Date
for 2007 : 27th May to 7th October
BELLRINGERS
: we have 6 bells,
and an enthusiastic all-age band of ringers - Betty is our Tower Captain. We practice at
7.30 p.m. on Wednesdays jointly with Ilkley All Saints' ringers (1st, 3rd and
5th Wednesdays of the month at All Saints', Ilkley; 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of
the month at St. Peter's)
INTERCESSIONS GROUP: we meet
to prepare prayers for use in our worship together.
WULFHERANS
: named after the
Anglo-Saxon Bishop who was here in 867! We meet on the first Tuesday of each
month at 7.45 p.m. for talks and visits.
CRAFT GROUP
: knitting,
stitching, painting - if this is your thing, this is the place for you!
Wednesdays at 2 p.m. in St. Peter's Hall.
JUNIOR CHURCH
:
6.30 p.m. alternate Thursdays, for 7's and 8's in St. Peter's Hall.
JUNIOR
CHURCH PLUS
: 6.30 p.m. every Thursday, for 9's
to 13's in St. Peter's Hall.
ST. PETER'S TODDLERS GROUP: a chance for parents to meet and chat
over a coffee while the
children play - meets every Thursday in the church hall from 9.30 a.m. to
11.30 a.m., with a Toddler's Service at 11 am on first Thursday of the month.
TRAIDCRAFT STALL: a chance
to purchase and order fairly-traded goods, Sunday mornings after church in
the hall from October to May - get all your gifts, food supplies and other sundries here, and
make a real difference to the producer's lives.
Don't forget the Information Area at the back of church, where
you can browse or borrow from a large collection of books, see details of the
charity of the month, view the Book of
Remembrance, and enter your prayer requests in the book.
