The Rector writes of his vision of how the church should and could be:

"I have a vision of a church with members of all ages, with members who are single, married, divorced, widowed, with all backgrounds of the village represented, where nobody would feel excluded or that it was not for their type, where everybody enjoyed being with each other, learning from each other and with each other. If we do not share the dream it will never happen. We all have to want it to make it even a possibility. But if we share the dream with each other and with God I believe God will help the dream come true, in ways we may not envisage or predict. Let us pray that with God's blessing the new Family Service may be one small step on making that dream real."
